Lucky enough to perform in two of JS Bach’s passions in the space of a few months. What a blessing. These are real musical treats. The St. John Passion is a different beast to the St Matthew. It tells the tale of the crucifixion according to the apostle John. If you’re someone who subscribes to a particular religion or not is irrelevant – what’s more relevant is if you are interested in the universe, its stories and its sounds.
Come and hear this amazing piece in completion, in a beautiful setting (the beautiful floral displays kind of explode from the church’s altars, remnants of Malcolm Fraser’s funeral held in the exact same space about a week ago, like fireworks).
